Mirza Mahmood Begg Memorial Scholarship |
|||
Three scholarships of the value of Rs. 1400.00 each are awarded annually to the undergraduates who secure the highest percentage of marks in the college atthe final year University examination in
(1) Humanities and Social Sciences stream including Psychology but excluding Mathematics, (2) Science stream including BA & B.5c. (Hons.) courses in Mathematics, and (3) Commerce stream. |

Three scholarships, for the following categories of students obtaining highest percentage of marks in the college at the second year University examination,
(1) Rs. 700.00 for a visually handicapped student, (2) Rs. 1100.00 for Humanities and Social Sciences stream including Psychology and Commerce stream but excluding B.A. (Hons.) Mathematics, and (3) Rs. 1100.00 for Science stream including B.A./B.Sc.(Hons.) in Mathematics. |

One scholarship of the value of Rs. 1100.00 to a student securing highest percentage of marks in college at the second year B.A. Honours University examination in Political Science.

Four scholarships for the following categories of II year students who obtain highest percentage of marks in the following courses:
(1) Rs. 700.00 for a student in B.A. (Hons.) Psychology (2) Rs. 350.00 for a student in Humanities & Social Sciences stream excluding Psychology and BA (Hons.) Mathematics. (3) Rs. 350.00 for a student in Science stream including B.A.f B.5c. (Hons.) courses in Mathematics and (4) Rs. 350.00 for a Commerce student. No student shall be awarded two scholarships in one academic session. In the case of overlapping, the decision of the Awards Committee shall be final. |

| Mrs. Harjinder Grover Memorial Award

|
Botany Department awards a cash prize of Rs. 500/- each to the students securing highest marks in B.Sc. (Hons.) Botany II year and B.Se. Life Sciences II year. The prize money is funded by the "Harjinder Grover Endowment Fund" which was instituted in the memory of Late Dr. (Mrs) Harjinder Grover who remained on the faculty of the department for a long time. |

| S.P. Suri Memorial Award |

|
Chemistry Department awards every year a medal, books and certificate to the students securin highest marks in B.Sc. (Hons.) Chemistry I, II and III year in the college as well as to the student who tops the Delhi University in B.Sc. (Hons.) Chemistry III year. The award is instituted in the memory of Late Mr. S.P. Suri who established the Chemistry Department in the College and was on faculty till 1987. |
