INTER-UNIVERSITY MIGRATION Migrations from other universities will be allowed if seats are available. The last date for Inter-University migration is 30th November 2011. No direct admission in Second year Honours Courses are allowed as per Delhi University rules. MIGRATION TO II YEAR FROM OTHER UNIVERSITIES A Student who wishes to seek admission/migration after the Senior School Certificate Examination (under 10+2 system) or an examination recognized as equivalent and after having also passed the 1st year of a degree course conducted by a recognized University, can seek admission/migration provided the has secured : (i) 40% marks in the aggregate of the Senior School Examination or an equivalent. (ii)The minimum percentage of marks in the 1st year examination of the degree course equivalent to the percentage of marks as laid down by the University of Delhi to pass the I Year examination of the degree course. Transfer to the II Year B.A. /B.Com Course /B.Sc. (Physical/Life Sciences)
(a) Any student of B.A. (Hons.) or B. Com. (Hons.) Course, who has passed the Part I examination or a student who has been declared eligible for promotion to the next higher class on the result of the Part I examination or a student who has failed at the Part I examination, obtaining at least 25% marks in the aggregate (Main subject and Qualifying and Subsidiary Subjects taken together) in each case, may at his option, be allowed to proceed to the II year class of the B.A. or the B.Com Course at the beginning ofthe 1 stterm ofthe II year ofthe Course if otherwise eligible for admission to the I year of the B.A. or the B.Com Course, as the case may be as per qualification possessed by him at that time. Such a student, on transfer, shall be required to take Part I and Part II examination, simultaneously at the B.A. or the B.Com. Courses, as the case may be, at the end of the II Year of course, if otherwise eligible.
No direct admission is permissible to the II year of B.A. (Hons.) including B.Sc. (Hons) Mathematics and Statistics and B.Com. (Hons.) Course.
(b) Any student of B.Se. (Hons.) Course, who has passed the Part I examination or a student who has been declared eligible for promotion to the next higher class on the result of the Part I examination or a student who has failed at the examination obtaining at least 25% marks in the aggregate (Main subject and Qualifying and Subsidiary Subjects taken together) in each case, may at his option, be allowed to proceed to the II year class of the B.A. orthe B.Com. orthe B.Se. Physical Sc.f Life Se. Course, as the case may be, as per qualification possessed by him at that time. Such a student on transfer, shall be required to take Part I and Part II examination, simultaneously of the B.A.fB.ComfB.Se. Physical Se./Life Se. Courses as the case may be, at the end of the II Year of the course, if otherwise eligible.
Note :
Transfer from II year B.Sc. Physical Sc. / Life Sc. to II year B.Sc. (Hons.) in Botany / Zoology and Physics / Chemistry.
The students, who passed the B.Se. Physical Sc. / Life Sc. 1 st year examination from Delhi University with 60% or more marks in the aggregate of the subject viz. (i.) Chemistry, Botany and Zoology; and (ii) Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics and 60% or more marks in the concerned subject shall be entitled to seek transfer to IInd year class in B.Se. (Hons.) Course (i) Botany or Zoology, (ii) Physics or Chemistry.
Notes: a. Such student if admitted, shall be required to take Part I Examination (Main Theory Papers only). b. The marks obtained by the Candidate in the Theory and Practical of B.Se. Physical Se. / life Se. I Year examination papers which become. subsidiary papers on transfer to II Year Honours course shall be taken into account proportionately. The marks obtained in the Practical of 1st year Course which becomes main paper on transfer to II Year shall be taken into account proportionatety as marks obtained in the Practical main of the I Year. ~ The students of B.A. who secure admission on the basis of a specific medium (English/Hindi) shall not be permitted to change the opted medium of instructions. ~ The subject combinations would not be changed after admission. ~ The students who secure admission on the basis of Sports / Extra Curricular Activities are required to pursue their respective Sports / Cultural Activity. In case of non-compliance, their admission may be cancelled. |
